FIFA 16 PS4 – Serie A Season 5 Wrap-up

Season five in the FIFA 16 Serie A PS4 league has reached its conclusion. I would like to congratulate Sleddro (Bayern Munich) for winning his first title. He was superb from start to finish, dominating the rest of the league and finishing 12 points ahead of second place Bathingape (Juventus). A very late win from Calvin (Arsenal) bumped him into the top three, edging out Mayz (Chelsea) and Wole (Roma) on goal differential. Infamous (Barcelona) and Kimbomma (Borussia Dortmund) have also punched their tickets to the Champions League. Fadda (Real Madrid) struggled mightily this season despite having one of the top teams in the game, finishing back in 9th. However, Frank (PSG), our 8th place finisher, was removed from the league due to inactivity, allowing Fadda to claim the final Champions League spot, saving his season from being a total failure.

Speaking of disappointing seasons, Dom (Schalke 04) went against the grain with his team selection this season, and it sure did not pay off. He was in the relegation battle for much of the season, but some crucial points down the stretch got him up to 10th place and into safety. Brandon (Liverpool) joined the league late, taking over a disastrous squad that even the great Chopp wanted no part of. And while Brandon finished in 12th, give him credit just for fighting off relegation and remaining in Serie A for next season.

Our bottom four in season five is as follows: Moonwalk (Manchester United), Swanson (Atletico Madrid), Skyfall (Napoli), and Shady (Lyon). However, due to the removal of Frank, Matej (Manchester City), and Swanson, there will only be one team getting relegated this season, which means only Shady will be headed back down to Serie B. Funny story about Swanson. He made it known throughout the season that he would quit the league before he got relegated back to Serie B. After getting demolished by Dom 5-1, Swanson’s relegation fate seemed secure, so he packed his bags. Well, had he decided to stick around, he would still be in Serie A thanks to Frank and Matej getting booted. So in conclusion, Swanson lost, got fake relegated, and quit the league as a result.
