The time has come WGW fanatics. It’s time to head to the WGW Battleground. This night we shall crown our 1st World Chamipion. Your favorite superstars have been gathered to lay it all on the line. While you enter the arena and visit our concessions, be sure to catch out our opening match as two fallen stars attempt to get back to form.
Vertigo(1-3) vs Joe West(1-3)
Both Vertigo and Joe West started the season by being eliminated from the WGW World Championship Tournament. Both started with dismal 0-3 win-loss records. Both managing to get their 1st win on Thursday Night Smackdown the other night. Which one has actually knocked the rust off and which one will continue to shame their own reputation?
Miles Legend(2-2) vs X(1-2)
The match between Miles Legend and X should be a nailbiter. These superstars have provided their fair share of dramatic matches. Will The Legend continue or will X cross Miles off his list?
Ian Jacobs(2-2) vs Wallace(2-2)
The X-Factor, Ian Jacobs, has suprised the powers that be with his performances. He lost 2 matches he should have won and turned it around to win 2 matches where he was the underdog. Again the underdog, will the X-Factor be clutch against the hard hitting Wallace? Or, will Ian become NO BIG DEAL and lose to Wallace.
Jordan Todd(3-1) vs Buck Nasty(2-1) – The Managment
Jordan Todd a.k.a JT Money has quietly dominated all of his opponents with his diehard performances in the ring. Getting a bit full of himself he let one get away in that loss to X on RAW. Will JT wow the crowd or will The Managment’s Buck shut him down.
DCP(3-0-1) vs Luthor King(3-1)
Luthor King has been a force to be reckoned with since the beginning of the season. DCP is a street fight legend. This Extreme Rules bout will bring violence as the undefeated DCP gets to take the gloves off. The real loser of this match will more than likely be the referee as DCP has been the most abusive Superstar in history with over 101 workman’s comp cases open against him during his career for attacking the officials during matches.
Real Deal Ricky & Bruce The Axe Stubbs vs The Managment’s Russ Snow & Chris Cunningham
The Managment has been tormenting Ricky now for weeks. After getting out of the hospial, Ricky still wasn’t up to defeating Buck on Smackdown. With his choice of partner Ricky chose his NXT training partner, and currently undefeated, Bruce The Axe Stubbs to join him in his quest for revenge against The Managment. This Tornado Tag showdown is sure to be a slugfest.
