WGL FIFA16 Serie A Midseason Review

We have reached the midpoint of the season for the FIFA16 Serie A league. The league has a few surprises as well as some expected stats. Leading the table with a perfect record through the first half is former WGL FIFA15 champion Mayz19. Closely behind him is newcomer Bathingape and in third is another former WGL champ, ElasticoChopp. Mayz19 also leads in the golden boot standings with a whopping 34 goals through his first 8 games.  We did have 3 players* drop from the league, so only one active player will have to suffer the fate of relegation, and at this point that seems to be Nick, with Henn on the bubble. To the surprise of some, league commish Duke has absolutely stumbled out of the gate, Current champions league standings are the teams from 1-8 on the table, but whether those same 8 teams will be there at season 8 remains to be seen. Bathingape holds claim to the best defense on the table, with a league best of only 3 goals allowed. Followed by ElasticoChopp with 4 and Mayz19 with 6. It seems the top 3 are where they are for a reason. It looks like the season will come down to who can topple the others within the top 3. Here’s to the second half. Joga bonito my friends!
