3 & Out Madden

Reflecting: 3 & Out 1st Quarter of the Season

With the 1st quarter of the season wrapped up in the 3 & Out league, there are a few surprises from teams we didn’t expect to do well/poorly. I asked some of the division leaders and other contending division teams answer some of their thoughts on who stood out to them.
Which is your surprise team so far in this league and why?
Joker : 49ers/ATL: ATL (SiDonTrip) putting together what some thought at that time bad trades, pieced together a offense line with no RB and still dropping 30 a game is crazy. With only a L by 3 points looks great. But only one Quality win is cause for concern. 49ers (VIP) have a decent offense but the defense mainly. Secondary is a big ass question mark but shows the players skill to come within one point of being undefeated. With 3 Ws over playoff contenders, shows everyone that picked him as disappointing vet player. Week 9 might be NFC conference preview.
Brannin : 49ers (VIP). Expected them to struggle early with all the losses on defense and not improving on offense
Dot : Browns(Brannin). Made a lot moves and kept players smh. Running the AFC right now.
Chef : Vikings(Chef). Because chef had a top 5 picked and went with Minnesota over a power house team.
Wayne : Brannin/Browns. Didn’t expect them to be turned around so early.
Tone : Redskins(Matt) is my surprise.
Bruce : Rams (Charles Henry). He got way better since the last time I played him.
SiDonTrip: Redskins(Matt). Didn’t think Matt would  be 4-1 past the quarter mark of the season although I gave him his lone L.
Matt : My surprise team would be my Redskins.
VIP : Falcons(SiDonTrip). I honestly thought this division was between Xfactor and ATM but Si is making a case early on in the year. NFC South is getting interesting.
 Who is your disappointing team?
Joker : Disappointing team Vikings(Chef)/Seattle(PJ) I like the Seattle dude cool peoples but you barely have to do anything with this team ask Donny. But I will say he try’s to make every tackle/pick/sack. Which could be his down fall in most games. I hate to say this but hey let the CPU do some work. And the self proclaimed NFC NORTH champs Vikings(Chef) Starting 0-2 and then beating to bad teams to get even won’t cut it in the div with the packers rolling. Set it up bro.
Brannin : Patriots (Dallas Keyz). Expected him to be a surprise team in the AFC East but is struggling pretty bad to get anything going on offense and the defense is getting shredded
Dot : Disappointing Team. BH & the Broncos. All hype.
Chef: Vikings (Chef), because chef lost 2 games to 2 average users that aren’t better than him. He played to his competition and lost.
Wayne : Keyz/Patriots
Tone :  Disappointing is everyone in my division cause I’m suppose to have the worst team.
Bruce : Denver (BH) .. formally known as the express highway.
SiDonTrip : Disappointing team is prolly Broncos(BH). He’s a good player but didn’t think the defense will be as bad as it has been.
Matt : Giants(Schwick) is the most disappointing team cause their coach is actually good.
VIP : Broncos (BH). He picked me as “disappointing Vet: ViP (Easily)” on the predictions post. LOL funny how things worked out. Now he’s blaming Peyton Manning for his bad start. He’s using arguably the best team in the game.
Who will make a leap from the bottom?
Joker : I believe SD(Jela) is the team that will make the jump sitting last. Picks up a big win to get his team to 2-3 in a still open div. and hasn’t had one  division yet which could make all the difference in that division.
Brannin: Saints (ATM). Currently sitting behind the Falcons and Panthers but is making some moves to fit his style and expect him to make a run.
Dot : Vikings(Chef) middle of the pack. Think they make a leap.
Chef : Vikings(Chef), because chef is 2-2 and not at the top of the NFC north, chef will be at the top. Chef is at the bottom. Started
Wayne : Not sure who will flip the switch
Tone : Cowboys (Juggernaut) will flip the switch
Bruce : I got faith in the Steelers(BarryBee)
SiDonTrip : A team that can make a leap from the bottom to the top of division is prolly Rams(Charles Henry)
Matt : Giants(Schwick) will make the leap. Eagles are food. Cowboys unknown.
VIP : Giants(Schwick). He’s at 2-3 currently but I believe he will shake off the dust and will win his division games to make it tough for the Skins(Matt) at the end of the year.
It will be very interesting to see who will make a late run at the end of the year. Can’t wait to see what will happen!
