CALLING ALL FIFA Players : WGL FIFA 16 Leagues Preview
Overview:
⁃ Inaugural tournaments to decide first season team selection. Everyone will be placed in the randomizer and then pic teams. The teams will then be slotted into groups of 4 and will play each other once. The top 2 players in each group will go into the league A tournament and the bottom two into the group B tournament. From there we will go to R16 then quarterfinals, semifinals and then finals for each league tournament.
⁃ League numbers will be 16 players per league, League A and League B.
⁃ Season one will feature champions league, to be played between the top 8 of the tournament
⁃ The way sims will work is as following, there will be 48 hours between schedule drops. each schedule will drop by 10:30AM the day of. If you have not played last week’s fixture by the new release, you have until 10:30AM the next day to play that game until it is simmed at a 0-0 draw. if a player shows proof of a missed meeting the guilty party will receive a 0-1 sim.
⁃ Take a screenshot of your player goal sheet at the end of each match. The golden boot trophy will be given to the goal leader and will be recorded on the site so keep track of your goals
⁃ Power rankings will be doled out mid season and at season’s end.
⁃ The ballon d’or will be voted on. Nominations will be given out mid season and then voting will be done at season’s end.
⁃ You can submit recordings for goal of the week, 1 goal per game
⁃ There will be 3 team trophies per season, League trophy, UCL, and the WGL Cup
⁃ The community shield will be played between the league and WGL cup winners
⁃ Team selection is done via randomizer. With trophy winners being exempt. The order of seeded team select is league, UCL, WGL cup
⁃ Team selection day will be announced the day before. You have 45 seconds to pick your team. After that you’re skipped.
⁃ If you know beforehand you will miss selection, give an admin a list of the teams you want and we will pick for you accordingly
⁃ After season 1 champions league will be played amongst the top 8. Home and away fixtures. Aggregate scoring.
Rules:
⁃ Every game must be twitched, or recorded (be sure to set your twitch settings to archive all broadcasts)
⁃ Complaints will no longer be heard without proof
⁃ After every game both players must wait for the post game menu before they exit the match
⁃ The match score should be reported by both players win, loss or draw
⁃ You have until the 15” mark to request to leave a match for lag. if your opponent scores before you request, you must show proof that the goal was due to lag, otherwise it will count during the rematch
⁃ Games will be 7 minutes long, normal game speed
⁃ As for disconnects, users will either play a half or a whole with the previous scores in mind, depending on when the disconnect happened. If it occurs before the 1/3 match mark (30”) you will play the whole game. after that you’ll play a half.
⁃ Online squads only of course
⁃ If a red card is given, screenshot and report it. the user is not to use that player for one match. the player is to be kept in reserves and not subs for the next match

⁃ Relegation will be handled in said manner. The bottom 4 of league A will be sent to league B. And the top 4 of league B will be sent up. Waiting list players will be slotted in for the relegated members of league B which will cap at 4. [If there are only 3 players on the waitlist, only the bottom 3 will be relegated. If there are >4 only the bottom 4 will be out.]

⁃ Europa League will be included. Top 8 of League B.
⁃ The WGL cup is the inaugural tournament and will continue with selected teams after.
