Tell a little something about yourself: I’m Dominic, 23 years old, finishing up college in about a year or so, and obviously I enjoy playing Madden. The competition, and chess match that the game provides every year brings me back to the game every year.

What was the first Madden you played?: Madden 2003 with Marshall Faulk on the cover. I got it during the holidays, and I pretty lost every single game I played.

Favorite moment in a league game this year?: My favorite moment in a league game this year oddly enough was not winning Super Bowls; it was holding a high powered offense to about 10 points. That game in essence let me know that my defense was ready to make a run at greatness.

We all know there will be times in this tourney when being “clutch” could either mean a win or a lose for you. How do you get yourself in “clutch” mode when needed?: I treat every game like it’s a tournament game; I try to make the adjustments necessary throughout the game to get those clutch stops. Of course, with some good fortune, that may not be necessary.

If you had a chance to add one thing to Madden what would it be?: I would absolutely add back the Right Stick defensive adjustments from the PlayStation 2 days. It was quicker, and there were more options to disguise the defense pre-snap.

If you win the tourney whats the first thing you are gonna do when you load up Madden ’16?: The first thing I’m going to do is get right to practice mode. That’s where myself, and my best friend brainstorm schemes, adjustments to get ready for various tournaments and leagues. No real games for at least 2 weeks.
What brought you to the leagues at WGL and what would you say to someone who is looking to join a madden league about WGL?: I first joined these leagues by recommendation by my friend Donny. I felt like if he was winning games, then I could too. I would tell a prospective player that’s looking to join a league that WGL is competitive, the leagues move fast, and they’ll become a better player because of it. If you’re not looking to improve your game in order to win, it’s not the league for you to join.
