FIFA 16 To Feature Women’s National Teams
The long awaited arrival of women’s players will make their debut in FIFA 16 as 12 women’s national teams are in the game releasing September 22nd.
The teams included are Germany, USA, France, Sweden, England, Brazil, Canada, Australia, Spain, China, Italy and Mexico. Our women’s soccer expert Danny Rinehart (@daskins_21) says the “only elite team i didn’t see on the list was the defending World Cup champions Japan.”
This is a huge opportunity to help gain the recognition and support that women’s soccer deserves and undoubtedly receives less of compared to the men’s game. A huge part of fandom and support is being aware and having recognition of the top players in the game. For casual fans they will now be able to learn more about the women’s game and their stars through the help of FIFA 16 and hopefully beyond.
