3&Out: It’s the Rivalry!!!

Rivalries are nothing new. Anything with competitors has rivalries. Yankees vs Red Sox, Ohio St. vs ️Michigan, Verizon vs AT&T, EA Sports vs 2k, Nike vs……well you get my drift. As the 3&Out season reaches the midpoint, the word rivalry comes up.

Week 9 is upon us and 4 games stand out as rivalries this week. 3 are division games so there importance speaks for itself, but there is one other game that is head and shoulders above any on the schedule this week, which I’ll go into in depth.

As for the 3 division games, they are not only important to the standings but important for bragging rights.

In the NFC North, the Bears are under new ownership on TunezWGL and will battle with WeavusChrist and the defending division champion Lions. While both are trying to keep pace with the division leading Beats, this is a key game for playoff implications as well.

Over in the AFC East, it’s another matchup between the Pats and Bills. Defending AFC champion Yawk Yawk limped out the gate, but got a key victory last week to keep up in the division with DwaynsWorld91 and the Patriots. This is a must win for the Bills as the Jets seemed destined to make a playoff run.

In the much maligned AFC South, always talked about for there .500 records, and deservedly so, has the third division rivalry game of the week between mrrodgers1 and the Colts and QCobb’s Texans. These two have split the series for the last 3 years but Q gets the wins that count, the ones that have made him the back to back division champion. This game is always down to the wire and I do not expect this one to be any different.

Last but not least, is one of the games of the year. 2 users, 4 rings total, Tournament of Champion participants FlaStateOfMind and SayItAintTone. These two have Washington and Seattle respectively and there is absolutely no love lost between the two. Florida has been to two Super Bowls in 3&Out, while Tone is the back to back Super Bowl champion and has lost a grand total of 1 game the last 2.5 seasons. While there’s no doubt been bad blood between these two, and I know they will not admit it, there is a user respect here. Did I mention that both teams are undefeated? Makes this game even better! Washington is led by an electric offense whereas the Seahawks are led by a powerful running game and have a knack for making plays when it counts.

Will the Seahawks continue there roll even after the shocking trade of Russell Wilson? Or will Florida, more focused than ever, continue his quest for an undefeated season and the unprecedented 3rd ring!
