WGLWWE Power Rankings 4/7/15

It’s been busy in the WGL WWE universe over the past few weeks. The Hell in the Cell pay-per-view really gave the fans their money’s worth. The Smackdown before it and the Monday Night RAW following were also pay-per-view quality shows. Now that the dust has settled let’s take a look at the best in the business as of today.

1. The Wolverine Michael Lee (World Champ)

The best in the business of course is our WGLWWE World Champion. The Wolverine has secured his status as Champion by defending the title against the former champ Hunter Sullivan in a series of the most impressive matches I’ve ever seen in our squared circle.

2. The Shadow Ninja Damien Obsidian (IC champ)

Next up is The Intercontinental Champion. Damien was caught off guard and lost the title to Joe West during the chaotic Hell In The Cell fatal 4 way. He immediately used his rematch clause to reclaim the belt the following night on RAW. With The Wolverine and Gannon, Damien fights to stop the Bullet Club. Together these three are known as The Matrix.

3.  Hunter Sullivan

Ever since he joined forces with the troublesome Bullet Club, The Hunter has suffered a painful fall from glory. After being defeated by The Wolverine, he will never get another World Title shot while Mike Lee is Champion. To make matters worse, Hunter suffered a torn ACL and will be out of action during his recovery.

4. DCP (Hardcore champ)

DCP is the definition of Hardcore. It seems like every match he’s about to die but somehow,  through blood, sweat and a few steel chairs to the face, he defeats the odds and emerges victorious.

5. Gannon

2015-04-07 10.47.07

If there were a class clown title Gannon would be the champ. This wild and wacky superstar entertains his fans with his vast wardrobe of crazy ring attire. As far as skill, Gannon is no joke. Arguably one of the most skilled wrestlers around, he has set his sights on the Hardcore title. Can he beat DCP?

6. Joe “The Prodigy” West

As a Bullet Club member, Joe West, has experienced a sudden rise in popularity. He even got a 24 hour taste of what being a champion is like. Always a fierce competitor,  Joe strives to prove he’s one of the best.

7. “Death Proof” Alex Perez

The leader of The Bullet Club and one of the most skilled athletes in the ring. Death Proof isn’t injury proof and that’s the only reason he’s ranked so low. After a long recovery he’s finally back. A little rusty he took a loss against Gannon but bounced back to beat Damien Obsidian in a non title match. Look for this Shady character to snake his way into a title match and attempt to climb the ranks.

8. Peign

Mr Money In The Bank and also the 4th member of the Bullet Club, Peign has had success and failure lately. He has ignored multiple opportunities to cash in the MITB Case for a shot at the world title. Makes you wonder what the Bullet Club is up to.

9. Dragon Spirit

This Luchador wrestler is new to WGLWWE. His high flying antics have really made a splash as he has recorded 2 spectacular victories since his arrival.

10. Vega/Byson

Last,  but certainly not least, we have a tie between 2 of our newest WGLWWE wrestlers. Vega and Byson both show promise and I expect big things from them going forward.
