Greetings Friends!

Amber here with my first thoughts on the much anticipated Handsome Collection! Anybody who me knows I’m a rabid Borderlands fan and to say that I’m extremely happy with the Handsome collection would be a huge understatement. It’s pretty much been the main game I’ve played since its’ release on March 24th.

In the two weeks since its’ release, I’ve managed to get a fair bit of playing in on both Borderlands: The Pre Sequel and Borderlands 2. Most of my gaming hours has been on Borderlands 2, as it is by far one of my favorite games ever. And I just have to say, I’m beyond impressed. Having all of the DLC characters, maps and missions is awesome. I’ve yet to try out the character port from my Xbox360 but I’ve yet to find anybody who has had a real issue.  It looks beautiful and plays just like it did before, which was near perfect.

I’ve not played much of the Pre Sequel, being too caught up in leveling up my character on BL2. But from what I have made it through, I don’t have much to complain about. I was never fond of the bouncing around during fights and Claptrap is pure terror on Co-op but its still great fun! My biggest issue with the Pre Sequel is adjusting to Handsome Jack not being a bad guy.

The games themselves are pulled off beautifully. The co-op works seamlessly, just like it did in the previous generation. Gearbox recognized that I was a member and handed me 225 Golden keys (for that awesome golden loot box in sanctuary) and also gave me 100 Badass Ranks (which boost all you basic stats).

All in all, I am definitely beyond pleased with The Handsome Collection and think it’s a great addition to any video game collection. I recommend grabbing the digital download to avoid having to change the disc! I’ll be back in a few weeks to provide you guys with my full Rabid fan (With unbiased fan input) review!
