Oklahoma City Thunder Point Guard Russell Westbrook (43 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists)
At this point, there really isn’t much more to say about Russell Westbrook. In Tuesday’s 109-106 win over the Jazz, Westbrook produced another monster triple-double, pouring in 43 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists. He shot 13 for 28 from the field, but with the game on the line, he was 4 for 4 in the last three minutes. The final dagger was ultimately delivered with an and-one in the closing seconds. For Westbrook, it is his 30th triple-double of the season, bringing him to within one of tying Wilt Chamberlain for the second most in one season. Let’s face it. Any praise for Westbrook at this point would just be a repeat of previous posts. He is simply a joy to watch and he continues to surpass the limits of what we all thought was possible.
