Primetime Players League Power Rankings (Through Week 12)

Season 2 of the Primetime Players League has been a busy one. Transition, controversy, trash talk, I love it. There’s been some turnover in users, but the show goes on and the season has been more exciting than season one. There have been quite a few surprises as the rankings will show as everyone gets ready for one final push to the playoffs!

Without further adieu I bring you the power rankings through week 12!

  1. Cowboys/Jef-The riverboat gambler himself sits atop the rankings. After a major trade to hand over the reins to rookie QB Eric Clay, the Cowboys are rolling along in the NFC and look primed up for a Super Bowl Run
  2. Bears/TD-The Bears pick up right where they left off last season, hoping to make a run at the Super Bowl. Zach Mettenberger is putting up quite the numbers when tossing the pigskin around to duo of Alshon Jeffrey and Kevin White.
  3. Colts/Tunez-An ownership transition period has not slowed things down in Indianapolis who is still rolling in the AFC South. Safety duo of George Iloka and Burness Hunt lead a turnover hungry defense who has already clinched division as of week 11.
  4. Raiders/Tezzo-The team out in Oakland is making the late great Al Davis proud at this point in the season, leading the AFC West. Led by a power run game from Latavius Murray and a defense that seemed to improve with addition by subtraction with the trade of team leader Kalil Mack, this controversial silver and black clad team could represent the AFC in the Super Bowl, pending qb Derek Carr
  5. 49ers/Munch-What a difference a season makes. the niners could not finish any games this year, but with big wins to start the season vs both Super Bowl participants, San Fran has proved they are not a fluke. Brenden Sellers and Mike Davis have provided a nice spark to the backfield while Chris Conley continues to be the best deep threat in the league.
  6. Buffalo/Fla-Last years Super Bowl winner is no longer the hunter and is now the hunted. Guess what, is has not mattered. The Bills look to be on cruise control until the playoffs begin. Will they be able to click the on/off switch in time? Veterans Philip Rivers, Shady McCoy and OBJ continue to lead the way.
  7. Steelers/JWil-One word to describe the Steelers is consistent. Pencil them in for one of most explosive offenses yearly and through 12 games, nothing has changed. Sammie Coates has stepped into the #2 WR role very well and Leveon Bell continues to be the heart and soul of this team. Will the Steelers make the jump from playoffs to Super Bowl?
  8. Chiefs/DeeJay-Another pleasant surprise in the AFC West, the Chiefs look ready to surprise everyone and make a deep run in the playoffs. Jamaal Charles is the heartbeat of this team to go along with a steady Alex Smith. Reggie Bush has fit in well with the Chiefs as well.
  9. Seattle/Weav-Arguably the most talented defense in football, the Seahawks continue to lean on the run game with the double headed monster of Knile Davis and Marshawn Lynch, the modern day Thunder and Lightning. Bobby Wagner continues to prove his greatness leading a wildly fast defense.
  10. Jets/AlfieTrell-The Jets are beginning to find their stride after a bumpy first season. The Jets have put together the most talented secondary in the league with Xavier Rhodes, Calvin Pryor, Eric Berry, and Patrick Peterson. Matt Ryan continues to take care of the ball while Julius Thomas has fit right in since his arrival in Gotham City.
  11. Browns/MT-The Browns have been on a nice role since losing the first two games of the season. Johnny Manziel has been enigmatic this season but this veteran laden squad continues to find ways to win games.
  12. Ravens/SpanishSavage-I think it is time to see if Baltimore can take the next step and make the playoffs. Melvin Gordon leads the offense and will likely crack the 1,000 yard mark next week. This defense led by CJ Mosley continues to be physical and stifling in press coverage.
  13. Eagles/AdamMichael-Flying under the radar are the Eagles in Philly. Demarco Murray continues to be an MVP candidate with 1300 yards total offense and has been beneficial to the resurrection of the career of Josh Johnson. Will it be enough for a wild card slot?
  14. Lions/DonP-The Lions seemed to have found offensive balance this year and the record is showing it. With 3 players over 600 yards receiving and Ameer Abdullah leading the rush game, this can be the year that the Lions make some noise in the postseason’
  15. Patriots/Bosse-Left for dead 4 weeks ago, the Patriots have been one of the hottest teams in the league and trying there best to make a late run to the playoffs. This team is scary down the stretch
  16. New Orleans/Goose-Somewhat shocking, but the Saints are currently middle of the pack. The saints need Teddy Bridgewater to get into playoff mode a few weeks early, lets see if they can get into the playoffs because if they do, watch out NFC.
  17. Falcons/Solomon/Buck-The Falcons are another ball club looking to make noise and sneak into the playoffs as well, it’ll be a race to the finish between them and the hated Saints. Can anyone slow down Julio Jones? 59-1295-13 are MVP candidate numbers.
  18. Vikings/Bo-The Vikings need to find their mojo and quickly. A huge showdown with the Cowboys can be a great start.
  19. Broncos/Ozzie-The Broncos are not playing like themselves of late, but this AFC Title game participant can easily win out and make a serious run. They have proven it before
  20. Chargers/JB-The Chargers are a few plays away from being legitimate playoff contenders, once this team learns how to finish games they will be a threat.
  21. Bucaneers/DruDizz-The Bucs will not wow you with stats, but have improved on last season and trending in the right direction.
  22. Cardinals/Prophet-This is a good defensive unit that needs help from its offense going forward. Again, another football team trending in the right direction
  23. Panthers/Zach-What is going on in Cincinnati? Still one of the more prolific passing attacks in the league but that defense has taken a major step back.
  24. Giants/Buck/Tunez-A transition period for the Giants, look for this team to make drastic upgrades in the offseason.
  25. Texans/DreDimmer-Another ball club who will look to improve in the offseason, but improving already after the maligned trade of JJ Watt to Pittsburgh.
  26. Carolina/Hodge-You have to believe this season is only an anomaly for the Cam Newton led Panthers and will look to end the season on a strong note.
  27. Titans/Yancey-Midnight struck for last seasons Cinderella team in the AFC. The Titans will need to find an identity in the offseason.
  28. Rams/Q-One of the shocks of the league are the Rams. This team is better than there record.
  29. Washington/Stevie-Washington looks forward to its pending move out of the nations capital
  30. Miami/TreDeuce-The big shock of the league, this team was a playoff team last year. Expect Ryan Tannehill to be on the move in the offseason.
  31. Packers/Spottio-The Packers cannot get over the top but show glimpses of improvement.
  32. Jaguars/Shaggy-Will Blake Bortles be in a new city next season?
