WGL WWE2k16 League: Power Rankings

Title eligibility in WGL will be determined by Power Rankings, which will be updated [weekly/monthly/after each PPV event]. Your Power Ranking is affected by several criteria:

  • Wins and Losses
      • The old bread-and-butter. Simply put, the more you win–especially against opponents ranked higher than you, the more you advance in the rankings.
  • Match Quality
      • Wins aren’t necessarily everything in the squared circle. If you put up a strong showing in a losing effort against a Champion, for instance, your rank can still go up. Conversely, if you start phoning in your matches your stock can plummet. Even if you’re winning. Don’t be boring. Seriously.
  • Promos
      • The greatest Superstars in the history of the business talked the talk just as well as they walked the walk, and in WGL we intend to uphold that standard. Don’t be afraid to talk smack to your opponent(s) in between matches. Get live in the group chat. Start a Twitter war! We’ll be watching and evaluating. Just one caveat: please try to keep it kayfabe. Leave your personal issues at the door.
  • Feuds
      • Flair vs. Sting. Austin vs. Rock. Cena vs. Punk. This industry was built on great rivalries. A great feud–or even a killer series of matches–can be a launching pad for both you AND your opponent.
  • Conduct
    • Very simple: no griefing, no spamming, no whining, and try to resist the urge to drive hundreds of miles to serve up fades to your compatriots. Stay classy.

The World Heavyweight, Intercontinental, and Pure Champions are ranked #1, 2, and 3, respectively. After that, competitors are ranked according to their performance in the aforementioned categories. The top ten ranked Superstars are eligible for title match consideration.
