The Primetime Players League Talented Tenth

Season 2 has started in the Primetime Players League and results through the first four weeks have been nothing but shocking to say the least.

We’ve got teams that appeared in the super bowl with losses, playoff teams floundering, and improvements across the board from single digit winners from last season.

With that said stay tuned for a full 32 power rankings, but for now, let’s take a look at the top ten also known as the talented tenth.

(Numbers in parentheses are first place votes followed by total points on a 1-10 scale)

1. Oakland/Tezzo (3) 68-There’s much controversy at the top but the fact remains at this point it’s all accusations and the Raiders are 4-0. Be ready for a punishing rushing attack when you go into the black hole

2. Buffalo/Fla (2) – 67-The controversy begins at number 2 where the reigning Super Bowl champs reside. With there one loss coming to the 49ers, but knocking off Pittsburgh, the Bills continue to be a favorite to repeat.

3. Baltimore/Spanish Savage (3) – 66-The Rodney Dangerfield of the group is undefeated and has wins over two AFC Playoff participants through the first 4 weeks. Will the upstarts continue there undefeated streak?

4. New Orleans/Goose – 53-Things haven’t changed in New Orleans except the players. The Saints rarely beat themselves with turnovers and they believe in the K.I.S.S. Method(Keep It Simple Stupid) to win games. Only setback was to the 49ers.

5. Pittsburgh/Jwil – 49-The steelers remain consistent with an explosive offense, they didn’t pass the test vs Buffalo but will sure be in the running late in the season

6. Indianapolis/Tunez – 27-Colts rebounded from a tough defeat against the Oakland Raiders and will look to continue to dominate the AFC South

7. Detroit/Donny – 27-Coming in at 7, the enigma known as the Detroit Lions. They have an impressive win vs Dallas but the key will be can they keep it up when the schedule gets tougher?

8. Kansas City/Deejay – 23- The one team that nobody is talking about are the Kansas City Chiefs. This teams only setback is a tie vs the Cam Newton led Carolina Panthers. Watch out for the Chiefs down the stretch.

9. Chicago/TD – 20-The Bears keep rolling along in the NFC North as they look to defend there crown and make a run at the Super Bowl.

10. Seattle/Weav – 17-Seattle continues to to be dominant with both the defense and run game, typically both can carry you to the championship, but can Russell Wilson make enough plays in the passing game when teams stack the box?

Others receiving votes: Jefe (10), Zach (8), Bo (3), Munch (2)
