The All Or Nothing (PS4 Freestyle) League Preseason Rankings 1-15 by Commish @KevTaughtMe

Take an In Depth Look at 1-15 teams in WGL’s All or Nothing Freestyle PS4 League. From the Best to the Worst. Learn about the team, the user, the scouting report, and projections for the season. Here we go…

  1. Seattle Seahawks (Mole) – It’s a new year, and we can’t live off Madden 15 forever. That’s why this ringless bandit is sitting at #1. This is the best team in the game, and they have only gotten better with the acquisition of Jimmy Graham and his “Aggressive Catch Trait”. The Seahawks return this year with one change, a new owner. Mole has been playing the game since February and has a large step ahead of the competition as far as practice goes. Combining that with the best team is extremely dangerous. This Seahawks team likes to run the ball and make throws to stretch the field with their versatile QB. The roster is just right to do this with a powerful Marshawn Lynch and a quick Dangeruss Wilson. However, this user, and this team, does come with a small number of exploitable flaws. Mole lacks the user skill needed to finesse through broken or extended plays on defense. He also struggles to throw receivers open. If he can be comfortable all game, you can almost guarantee a W. However, he has a division rival in the Cardinals who are not the type to lay down. Can the Cardinals stop a potential NFC West rampage? If not, it may not be until the Playoffs that this team is truly tested. The Seahawks may also be in trouble if Russell Wilson runs into Future Hendrix during the season.

Games to Watch: Week 8 @ Cowboys, Week 9 vs Cardinals & Week 16 vs Cardinals.

Offensive MVP: Marshawn Lynch

Defensive MVP: Bam Bam Kam Chancellor

Projected Record: 14-2

  1. New England Patriots (Justino) – Justino is fundamentally the Tim Duncan of Madden. He runs a West Coast Offense, built off of exploiting underneath zones with short routes and Tom Brady’s unrelenting accuracy with deflated balls. He likes the zone running game if you’re too worried about covering his Sticks & Spots. Aside from Gronkowski, the team may struggle to throw downfield to its lacking receiver corps. We should expect to see a lot of possession catches in between frustrated defenders from Justino. Defensively, a Cover 3 will be standard for this team. Devon McCourty however is the only worthy mention in the secondary, and Vince Wilfork is missing in the front 7. That same front 7 however, is extremely athletic with speed on the edge. The outside run will be tough against this defense, and throwing downfield could be dangerous. Teams will need to attack the corners and scheme 1 on 1 matchups to take advantage of, if Chandler Jones doesn’t get you first. Defensively, user skill will be required, because a CPU controlled defense will be dessert to this offense. Man Coverage is suspect in Madden, but if you run Cover 1, drop the Safety, and…. Nevermind.

Game to Watch: Week 8 vs Redskins

Offensive MVP:  Tom Brady

Defensive MVP: Chandler Jones

Projected Record: 13-3

  1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Jabbo) – I’m all about the X’s & O’s. I come out and read the defense, make a two sided playcall, and execute without making mistakes. Jameis Winston is a big arm QB, with enough mobility to cause for a QB Spy. Two perimeters receivers, Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson force defenders to show respect with their safeties, or risk a big play on any down. Doug Martin is talented enough to slice through when the defense backs off too much. Skill wise, the Buccaneers are a potent team on Offense. The O-Line is extremely suspect, and the D-Line absolutely will struggle to stop the run, every down, every drive, trust me I would know. Pounding the ball effectively and causing hesitation out of a great midfield user will be the way to score on this team. To stop the Offense however, you have choices. You can run with two high safeties and take away the deep 1 on 1 matchups, but you risk being chipped all the way downfield Justino Style. You can place more manpower underneath, but you risk the big plays. You can try to pressure the QB, but Jameis of Nazareth might make the right read and exploit that pressure. I guess you’ll have to make the right call at the right time. Lavonte David is the heart of this defense which changes its look often, and they like to capitalize on mistakes. In a division that lacks another elite user, the Buccaneers may not see a true test until the Playoffs aside from a handful of out of conference matchups.

Game to Watch: Week 7 @ Redskins. The best opponent on this schedule and it could prove to be my demise. Aside from the Redskins, it’s a relatively easy path.

Offensive MVP: Mike Evans

Defensive MVP: Bradley McDougald

Projected Record: 16-0

  1. Washington Redskins (Henn) – Kirk Cousins is NOT the started under Henn, Bob Griffin 3x is gonna be taking the snaps. A still talented team, with speed at the receiver position, power at the running back position, and a fumbling, bumbling, injury prone, Kriss Kross Jump video face quarterback with an intern who has an itchy Instagram finger that his girlfriend probably hates, is bound to make noise with this owner. Potentially with the best hit stick in the league, the Redskins defense will be electric to watch during aggressive catch scenarios with bodies flipping in the air. Henn has a girlfriend and her name is Cover3eisha, and let me tell you, this man is faithful. I won’t give you the key to beating Cover 3, but if you beat it… then you beat Henn. Offensively, you’ll need to watch out for his run game. If you let him establish it, and get Marques Houston with braids III outside of the pocket, you WILL be in trouble. Sitting in a Division packed with guys who think they have the juice (Chino, Buddee, & Big Mike), the race might be close, but look for the Skins to come out on top.

Game to Watch: Week 16 @ Eagles and Week 17 @ Cowboys, the Redskins will face two division rivals to close the season. This could have HUGE playoff implications.

Offensive MVP: Alfred Morris

Defensive MVP: Dashon Goldson

Projected Record: 12-4

  1. Arizona Cardinals (Tripp) – This is our 2nd bachelor in the top 5 due to his lack of a ring, but I can’t use that to say that Tripp isn’t one of the better players in the league. The Cardinals “Bird Gang” secondary is trouble, and they will poke balls up in the air and create turnovers week in, and week out. Nobody will ever question the secondary or the front 7. The offense in Arizona however is currently under construction. Every down, a way too fast version of 35 year old Carson Palmer will touch the ball and struggle to find people to throw it too. Larry Fitzgerald is a bit past his prime, but a youthful John Brown is a problem even being a bit undersized. Tripp is an octopus with disguising his defense, it’s his execution that can become a problem. The crack in his voice when the CPU gives him an injustice is sure to be heard because of Jerraud Powers facing aggressive catches and being useless at times, but he usually finds a way to succeed in the regular season. Tripp’s success in the postseason? Under Investigation.

Games to watch: Week 17 vs Seahawks. Playoff Implications.

Offensive MVP: Andre Ellington

Defensive MVP: Calaias Campbell

Projected Record: 11-5

  1. New York Giants (Chino) – The #6 User has been in and out of mental hospitals with his habitual lying disorders. Chino has promised us Super Bowls & AFC Championship. He told us that he was going to deliver, and he was going to have a party on Twitch. He didn’t deliver when it was time, and fell short only to find himself back in the chat, making more promises. He thinks with his thumbs in GroupMe, but that doesn’t stop him from being one of the best defensive players in the league. Hailed as the Cover 3 Youth Camp Coach, he stays in his form all game long and never cracks. The Giants secondary (Prince Amukamara, DRC, and Landon Collins) may benefit from this coverage, but elite receivers can still exploit these above average corners. Offensively Chino needs to run the ball like he needs water. If he is forced to pass heavily, he is going to throw Interception. Usually 1 out of every 10 attempts is an Interception for him (legitimate statistic.) If you make him pass, he dies. He promised us all a Super Bowl, again, and we are tired of his lies. Personally, I’m ready to send him to a 12 step program, and if he doesn’t have that ring on his finger after year 1, don’t be surprised to see Chino in a group circle saying, “Hi, my name is Chino and I am a compulsive liar.”

Games to Watch: Weeks 3 & 7 against the Redskins. Chino is arguably the 2nd best in the NFC East, and his games vs Henn can prove that.

Offensive MVP: Odell Beckham Jr.

Defensive MVP: Landon Collins

Projected Record: 10-6

  1. Jacksonville Jaguars (Punisher) – Pun stands by his Jaguars no matter what. That is respectable. The Jaguars themselves however. Are not respectable. After a mediocre rookie campaign Blake Bortles returns with questionable accuracy. Throwing to Allen Robinson & Marquise Lee is not a bad cause, but against an elite secondary these two will be seen as nobodies. Denard Robinson & TJ Yeldon don’t sound threatening, but as Punisher is the Great Grandfather of the “strong power/counter” combination, which is more about the scheme and blocking than the actual backs. Pun’s Cover 3 scheme is unique, as you are never 100% sure which safety is dropping back, but after the snap and you identify him, the defense becomes vanilla. As far as personnel goes on defense, the Jaguars have bright spots, but it’s a flashlight in a cave. Telvin Smith and Dante Fowler can give quarterbacks nightmares, and Dwayne Gratz can be a big physical corner who definitely will knock out passes throughout the season. This team is very pedestrian, and Pun’s hot and cold streaks will not help his cause. If he shows us some consistency, team building skills, and if he stops throwing 4 INT’s a game, he could make a deep run for it and disrupt the normal top 5 of the elite teams.

Games to Watch: Week 4 @ Buccaneers (Battle of the Commissioners), Weeks 11 & 13 against a Madden friendly Titans team in his division.

Offensive MVP: TJ Yeldon

Defensive MVP: Dante Fowler

Projected Record: 10-6

  1. Denver Broncos (Danny) – This Broncos team is inherited by a solid user who plays fundamental football. I said earlier that Justino was like the Tim Duncan of Madden. Danny is like Andrew Bynum. You know he can do it, but somehow he just ends up at the bowling alley. Danny has been in the playoffs consistently, and on the field he has been a threat to whoever he plays. He’s worthy of taking serious but has never been a true contender to win it all. Unfortunately for Danny, he really likes man coverage, and I’ve watched multiple games lost because of Danny’s stubborn defensive coordinator, Danny. His offense is true to life, punting on all 4th downs unless necessary, and he tries hard to not make mistakes. He still makes them, though. Peyton Manning is a big giraffe with a flag football arm, but his accuracy is still respected in the short to intermediate field. A deep ball could turn into a duck hunt however. He comes forward with a stacked secondary, and a ridiculous, unfair, swarming pass rush (send Shane Ray). That’s a recipe for turnovers. You have linebacker Von Miller in cowboy boots and pants that could fit the punter breathing down your neck, and throwing the ball to a guy standing next to Chris Harris Jr, or Aqib Talib. Unfortunate.

Games to Watch: The entire AFC West will be a tight race this season, so look for all divisional matchups. He could see trouble against the newly owned Raiders.

Offensive MVP: Demaryius Thomas

Defensive MVP: Von Miller

Projected Record: 9-7

  1. Baltimore Ravens (Nasty Rah) – This man took a lot of heat last season for having the Seahawks and missing the playoffs a few times, but he has beat a lot of elite users. However, the games he won didn’t matter because he was at home whipping up porterhouses and T-Bone steaks during the playoffs. With a good Ravens team, Rah can prove to be dangerous but he must post up in the division and refuse to back down. Lucky for him, his division is not very strong. Defensively you can expect fresh playcalling, and with a young group of playmakers he will have a solid squad on the field from Day 1. This season however, we should just call Rah Haloti Ngata, since he just sits on the D Line all game long. I have not witnessed a user pick come from this man, and I’m 70% sure he plays defensive tackle with the player lock on… He might even face the offense when he does. If Rah Ngata can upgrade his user skills, and build enough offensive firepower to make comebacks, his defense should hold up against better opponents. Watch for the Flacco to Perriman deep passes. They are coming.

Games to Watch: Week 3 vs Bengals and Week 17 @ Bengals could prove to be interesting. With a first place schedule, look for Rah to see trouble.

Offensive MVP: Breshad Perriman

Defensive MVP: CJ Mosley

Projected Record: 8-8

  1. Tennessee Titans (Pass) – At #10 we have Pass, who was playing Madden 15 til the last day it came out, saying he was prepared for a Year 1 Superbowl. For that statement, it looks like Pass could be visiting Chino at the 12 Step Program for compulsive liars. His team is good, in Madden. Mariota is coming out of the tunnel first, a fast and accurate QB who is sure to rack up a ton of XP. Then, you have to deal with Dorial Green Beckham who is 8’6” and might be the best aggressive catcher in the entire game. You’ve also got Justin Hunter, and there are no criminal charges in Madden. Pass is not a user who throws deep though, Pass tries to attack lanes in the zone and hit the seams by making defenders pull away and making quick, 3 step drop throws. His flaw comes with that, because he is often throwing passes without thinking, and if you step in front of them, they are yours for the taking. He can get in a hole fast with his tendency to run south with his QB and force passes, and is usually taking blowouts or winning close. His user skill is below average but he has had seasons that gave him a #1 seed. That seed was planted in the couch though. No rings. If he can make smart decisions in the passing game, and save Bishop Sankey from getting killed against powerful defenders, he might be able to make noise.

Games to Watch: Pass and the Jaguars will be racing for the #1 spot in the AFC South, so beware of Weeks 11 & 13.

Offensive MVP: Marcus Mariota

Defensive MVP: Jurell Casey

Projected Record: 9-7

  1. Dallas Cowboys (Buddee) – How ironic that Bud fell one spot out of the Top 10. Nobody can ever question Buddee’s ability to be the #1 GM in our league. We can definitely question the rest of his ability. No rings for Buddee with multiple seasons and the best team in the league. We should expect the same from him this season, to build a dream team through the draft, hustle the other users who are scared of him – because he’s the admin – into trades, and find all the ways to make money and bring free agents to Dallas. Can he finally do it with the teams he builds? We didn’t see user skills out of Buddee last season, we seen him manning the defensive line. Users said that he built a team that “couldn’t be thrown on”. A true no fly zone. On offense, he had enough weapons, to score enough points, with a defense that could strange you enough, for him to make a run. Unfortunately, user skills are what wins championships. Until Buddee hits the film room with that left thumb again, expect another pedestrian season. Oh and by the way, he’s in a division with two users in the Top 10. If he misses the playoffs, and Rah Ngata makes the playoffs… oh boy.

Games to Watch: Buddee will have to prove himself in his division first of all. Some will say he is in the bottom half of his division. He needs to prove them wrong.

Offensive MVP: Dez Bryant

Defensive MVP: Greg Hardy

Projected Record: 8-8

  1. Kansas City Chiefs (Chandler) – The baby of the bunch, Chandler. This kid was asking us to borrow a car for his prom. He was asking if we could even buy him some beer. He’s come a long way since his 11th birthday a few weeks ago. Just ask Big Mike. Chandler went from being a bottom 5 user to the top 15, and he’s been quiet all offseason. If he was working all season and has been preparing so far, watch for him to move into the Top 10 soon. Kansas City is a talented Defense and a low quality offense. I see Chandler having trouble scoring, but if he can kill the run game with Jamaal Charles and get Alex Smith out of the pocket, he might be able to march just enough to get some W’s on the strength of his defense alone.

Games to Watch: Week 2 vs the Broncos. This will be a tough game because it might prove who is going to take the early lead in the AFC West.

Offensive MVP: Jamaal Charles

Defensive MVP: Justin Houston

Projected Record: 9-7

  1. New York Jets (Nick) – New York Nick told me he was gonna win the AFC East and take Justino down from his spot. His defense would say its capable. Revis & Cromartie are invaluable in this game, and the front 7 could go down in the record books. Ryan Fitzpatrick is a game manager, and Nick might feel the need to air it out. That’s not in his area of expertise but the defense can be tough and he can stop committing turnovers on offense, and be a threat in his division. Outside of the division, he may not cause much trouble. Like I said earlier, Nick told us that he has the juice this year, and he has played better than he did before. I expect him to be on the market for a quarterback by Week 5, and if he mortgages a superstar D Lineman he can get one, and a better runningback too. I hope he does, I want him to have everything he needs to prove his claim against Justino. That would be something to see.

Games to Watch: Week 16 vs Patriots. This game could be Nick’s chance to close out the East. Assuming he holds true to his claim, this is a huge game. At the same time, he could be on his way to a 4-12 season already. We’ll see.

Offensive MVP: Jace Amaro

Defensive MVP: Muhammah Wilkerson

Projected Record: 7-9

  1. Oakland Raiders (Brandon Sav) – We got a new guy on a team full of new guys. I’ve played this kid twice, and he is good. He is a threat, that’s confirmed. That may come with the newness of the game, but that just makes him a year one threat. A talented offense with quarterback Derek Carr, stud rookie Amari Cooper could be dangerous under this users control. He has a real knack for throwing guys open. He can find receivers in traffic before the cut and throw it into space, while the receivers glides by for a RAC catch. He’s done this to me, a few times. He knows how to attack the seams and takes shots at zones in the right way. On defense, Khalil Mack leads the way after the departure of Sio Moore to the Colts. Charles Woodson (send him) is the veteran of the secondary and is still an elite safety in this league, just check the tape. The defense comes with a simple blitzing scheme, but with an Elite pass rusher like Mack, that’s all you need. However there is a lack of thumb control here that we see with many other users, as Brandon can’t seem to find his way off the D-Line. If the pressure is picked up and Brandon is left to fend with a 300+ lb Dan Williams at DT, his secondary can’t be saved by Chuck the Legend alone. Offensively, protect your seams from this guy, and just sit back. He’s gonna throw you interceptions. Eventually his downfield timing routes will be mistimed, or Carr’s arm will misfire. Capitolize on turnovers, watch for the blitz, and you should be okay. But don’t let me make it sound easy.

Games to Watch: Brandon has a chance to hop out and surprise people in his division. He could also be a Day 1 talent that fizzes out by Week 4. Pay attention to his division games. Aside from that, tune in Week 8 vs the Jets to see him & Nick tee off. Two guys showing early promise having a midseason matchup. It could be fun to see, could be a toilet bowl.

Offensive MVP: Amari Cooper

Defensive MVP: Khalil Mack

Projected Record: 8-8

  1. New Orleans Saints (Ray Walls) – I met Ray in a D-League Madden League while I was there utilizing the lack of talent to try new schemes, he was in there doing his thing. I took notice to that. But you might average 20/10/5 in the D League just to come to the WGL to hold someone’s towel while you rock a sweat suit with the snap off pants. He fell into a bad spot with his pick, because aside from the safety position, this Roster is pretty bare. Brandin Cooks is a weapon, but not a one man army. It would be a miracle to see Ray do big things in the NFC South with myself, but I hope he can step up and give me a fight for that top spot in the Division.

Games to Watch: With 3 of his last 5 games being in the division, his streak to close the season could determine a solidified Wild Card Spot, or a whiff and a top 18 draft pick. Watch for Week 13 vs the Panthers, Week 14 @ the Buccaneers, and Week 17 in Atlanta with the Falcons.

Offensive MVP: Brandin Cooks

Defensive MVP: Kenny Vaccaro

Projected Record: 7-9
