WGLWWE Power Rankings 5/10/15

Insanity and chaos has run through the WGLWWE Universe since our last Power Rankings. We have had 4 RAW shows, 4 SMACKDOWN shows, the Hell In the Cell pay-per view and just yesterday we had the Elimination Chamber pay-per view! There has been quite a few rising superstars as well as some fallen heroes. The Hardcore title is no more and has been replaced with the United States Championship Title.

If you have been following The Shoot with Hacksaw Duggus then you would know Alex “Death Proof” Perez schemed his way to becoming our new World Champion. To make matters worse Mike “The Wolverine” Lee suffered severe injuries to his back that will require surgery. Doctors estimate he may be out 6 months to a year.

Well, let’s get down to business. Here’s the top 10 WGLWWE Superstars after the controversial Elimination Chamber.

1. Alex “Death Proof” Perez (World Champion)

This past month, the founder of the Bullet Club has been busy executing his underhanded plan to rise to the top. Stealing the Money in the Bank case from Peign, by way of Bullet Club contract, Alex cashed in and defeated an injured Mike Lee to claim the World Title. The new champ then steps in during the Elimination Chamber to dominate new comer Wiseass. With the biggest ranking leap the most hated WGLWWE Superstar jumps from 7th to the top in dramatic fashion. The biggest question is can he hold onto the position that some say he doesn’t deserve.

2. The Shadow Ninja Damien Obsidian (Intercontinental Champion)

Still in our number 2 spot, Damien has taken some losses lately and nearly lost the title to Peign. Has the disipline warrior gotten a bit too comfortable or will he get back to his training and bounce back on the road to Wrestlemania?

3. Gannon

After beating DCP and winning the Harcore Championship, Gannon was stripped of the belt and the Hardcore title was retired. Gannon always the fan favorite surprisingly lost to Byson during the United States Championship Tournament Semi-Finals. It’s rumored that he may not have been focused since he was announced as the final Elimination Chamber entry right before the match against Byson. Fans booed as Gannon was eliminated early from the chamber.

4. Joe “The Prodigy” West 

Joe has been on a roll lately. With 2 strong performances at Hell in the Cell and the Elimination Chamber, Joe is out to prove he’s more than just Death Proof’s sidekick. Look to see this title hungry competitor in some big matches in the upcoming weeks.

5. Peign

Ok, let’s recap. 1st Peign is humiliated by Hunter. Next, he wins Money in The Bank and secures in chance to redeem himself against the then champ Mr. Sullivan. So, in the meantime Peign joins The Bullet Club to bide his time just waiting for the chance to cash in on Hunter. But before Peign could cash in, Hunter not only joins him in the Bullet Club but also loses the belt to Mike Lee. No longer able to bear fighting alongside his hated rival, Peign makes a deal with Alex Perez to break ties with the Bullet Club. Long story short he had to give Alex the MITB case. Yesterday, shocking the world, Peign was the last man standing in the Elimination Chamber earning him a match for the World Championship Belt at Wrestlemania.

6. Hunter Sullivan

The Hunter is back and boy is he angry. After an extended absence due to injury, Hunter returned in rare form during the Elimination Chamber match. In an unexpected turn of events Hunter was eliminated by Peign. However, with Mike Lee out of the picture I’m sure Hunter has his targets locked on Alex Perez in order to reclaim “his” belt.

7. DCP

After Losing his Hardcore title to Gannon we haven’t seen much of DCP. As a former champion he was announced as an Elimination Chamber entry. Even with a strong showing he was eliminated. After the chamber DCP was quoted calling out Hunter so don’t be surprised if they see each other in the ring sooner than later. Hunter Sullivan has never defeated DCP by the way…

8. Dangerous David (United States Champion)

Dangerous David Wins The United States Championship Belt Dressed As The Joker

Just as we were thinking Gannon was wild and crazy here comes another Chicago wrestler in Dangerous David. This kid has exploded in the WGLWWE Universe. Every match has been electrifying. David dominated in the tournament on his way to becoming the 1st ever WGLWWE United States Champion. With all the young talent in the WGLWWE can Dangerous David defend his new title?

9. Dragon Spirit

After dominating Peign in back to back matches, Dragon Spirit earned a spot in the US Title Tournament. Possibly entering a bit over confident he suffered a first round exit at the hands of Dangerous David.

10. Byson

Byson had a very impressive run through the US Title Tournament. He convincingly defeated everyone in his path. That is until the final match for the belt against Dangerous David. Byson is a tough competitor and I’m sure he will get another shot at the US Title.

I know I said top 10 but I have to spot light 2 bright stars on the come up. Both Jacob and Wiseass have faced some of the best of the best and have really shown promise. Don’t Be surprised if one of these guys become the next big thing.
